Community litter pick at Greetwell Hollow Nature Reserve

What an amazing morning 14th Lincoln Scout Group (St. Giles) had during their community litter pick on Saturday 16th May 2026
Young people, leaders, parents, local residents, and local councillors all came together at Greetwell Hollow Nature Reserve to help make a positive difference to our local environment.

Working as a team, we collected a huge amount of litter from around the reserve, helping to keep the area clean and safe for both wildlife and the community to enjoy.
A huge well done to all of our young people for their hard work, teamwork, and community spirit throughout the event, you did an incredible job and represented the group brilliantly.
Thank you as well to everyone who joined us and supported the event. It was fantastic to see the community coming together for such a positive cause.
Get Involved
If your young person would enjoy getting stuck into activities like this, making new friends, and learning skills for life, why not consider joining Scouts? There are groups right across Lincoln offering fun, adventure, and opportunities to get involved in the local community – we’d love to welcome you.
