Admin Support Volunteer at 25th Lincoln (Scothern)

June 8, 2026

Organised, reliable, and love keeping things running smoothly?

Want to support local Scouting without working directly with young people every week?

Scothern Scout Group is looking for an Admin Support Volunteer to help our Scout Group behind the scenes. Your support will help our leaders focus on delivering fun, adventure, and skills for life to our young people.

What could you be doing?

Tasks may include:

  • Keeping membership records up to date
  • Managing the collection of term fees
  • Ordering badges and awards
  • Maintaining waiting lists
  • Taking minutes at Trustee meetings
  • Coordinating the annual Scout Census
  • Supporting the Group Lead Volunteer and Section Leaders with administration

What’s involved?

This is a flexible role that can largely be carried out from home and at times that suit you. There's no requirement to attend weekly Beaver, Cub, or Scout meetings, although you'll work closely with the leadership team to help keep the Group organised.

No previous experience is necessary. If you're dependable, willing to learn, and happy to get involved, we'll provide all the guidance, training, and support you need.

Why volunteer?

By helping with the administration of the Group, you'll play a vital part in making Scouting happen. Your organisation and support will help create opportunities for young people to learn new skills, make friends, and experience adventure.

Ready to use your admin skills to make a difference? We'd love to hear from you.
