Altham Terrace Campsite

About the Campsite

Altham Terrace is a welcoming and versatile Scout campsite, perfect for smaller Section and Group camps. Conveniently located close to the heart of Lincoln, the site is an excellent base for exploring the city’s historic landmarks, including Lincoln Cathedral and Lincoln Castle, while also being within easy reach of local shops and facilities.

With plenty of open space, the site is ideal for traditional Scouting skills such as outdoor cooking, fire lighting, and practicing with axes and saws. There’s also ample room for team games, making it a flexible space for all kinds of activities.

The main building on site includes a spacious hall, a simple kitchen for catering, and essential facilities with showers and toilets.

Altham Terrace also benefits from the support of Lincoln District’s Active Support Units, who can provide a wide range of activities for visiting groups. The District Water Activities Team can also deliver sessions from this location, adding even more variety to your camp experience.
