About the Course
Shoot an arrow with precision
6 sessions of no planning for group leaders!
We can provide a 6 session course for your scout group during the evenings or a Master at Arms weekend.
Evening sessions will take place at Altham Terrace with a minimum of 6 spaces and a maximum number of 12 scouts.
If you have a large group we would recommend either running two courses or we can do a Master at Arms weekend. Please get in touch for more details
Price: £30 per scout (equates to £5 per session)

Course Overview:
Session 1:- Safety, Have-a-go, Scoring Round
Session 2:- Warm ups, Build and Take down a bow, Scoring Round
Session 3:- Parts of the Bow and Arrow, Scoring Round
Session 4:- Sights, Scouring Round
Session 5:- Free Shoot, Games and Scoring Round
Session 6:- Quiz and Competition
Activity badge requirements
How to earn your badge:
- Attend regular training sessions in a relevant activity like fencing, shooting or archery.
Show how you’ve improved in technique. You should train for at least six sessions. - Learn the safety rules associated with your activity and show how to follow them.
- Take part in your chosen activity at an officially supervised contest.
Afterwards, talk to the instructor about your performance and how you can improve.
